Meet Lizzy Claire

Hi friends,

Thank you for visiting my virtual needlepoint shop. My name is Cathey, and I started the online needlepoint shop as a way to share my designs with friends and family.

I have always enjoyed crafts of all kinds. I was sewing things as a little girl and was influenced by mom and grandmother who could sew clothes among other things. While I don't sew clothing, I have made blankets and quilts, and I have even made a crochet blanket. I love to spend my free time in my craft room. Whether I'm stamping or sewing, I can always find something to do.

I started needlepoint and loved it, but I found it hard to justify on my teacher budget. I wanted to continue, so I started to design my own needlepoint canvases. I was soon sharing with family and friends who told me I should create my own online shop.

I'm Cathey so who is Lizzy Claire? The name Lizzy Claire is a combination of my daughter's middle names - Elizabeth and Claire.

My goal is to offer affordable project kits, supplies and canvases so needlepointing can be accessible for all!
